Within all of us, lies the ability to become legendary. Some of us are gifted with the talent to write songs that inspire, heal, set the mood for love, or encourage us to keep pushing when we’re ready to give up. Yet talent alone is not enough to take a song from its initial idea to the soundtrack of peoples’ lives. To do this on a consistent basis requires one to become an astute observer of human nature and a master of the arts and business of the music industry. In short, one has to become, a Talent))Bender.
WHAT WE DO
Talent))Bender, Inc. creates, publishes, places, and licenses great songs that connect with and move audiences across various genres. We are a pro-artist music publisher and investment company that works with songwriters, artists, managers, producers, and music supervisors to deliver music that stirs the souls of listeners.
HOW WE’RE DIFFERENT
Unless you’re a well-established artist, most music publishers only offer publishing deals or writing opportunities that require artists to sign away all of their song copyrights. We will never ask you to do this. Whether you’re just getting started or are a veteran artist, we value you as a true partner. Read more. >>
About the Founder: Dewayne Jackson
At an early age, Dewayne was given a Yamaha keyboard as a Christmas gift and soon realized he had a knack for feeling out and creating melodies; however, he didn’t seriously begin writing songs until much later in life after a meeting with a local music producer. During the songwriting and music production process, Dewayne excels at pulling in the right singers, musicians, and producers to breathe life into songs.
Dewayne realized that creative talent isn’t the only ingredient for success in the music industry so he obtained a Master of Music in Music Business and Entertainment Industries from the University of Miami. He also realized that the key to advancing in the industry is to network and collaborate. Dewayne is a member of the HRDRV community of artists, songwriters, and producers. He is a member of the Recording Academy and a member of the Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association.
